Willard Carol “Will” Smith Jr. is an American actor, producer, and rapper. He has been an inspiration to young men since 1998 when he achieved fame as a rapper under the name “The Fresh Prince.” In 1990, his popularity increased dramatically when he starred in the popular television series “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Smith moved from television to film, and ultimately starred in numerous blockbuster films. From the very beginning, Will Smith has been very passionate about the work he does, whether its movies, music or producing. He is very dedicated to his craft, and he passed that dedication and passion on to his children, which is another reason why he is so looked up to in the African American community. People see what his children have accomplished at such a young age and believe that a lot of that has to do with their father.
Will Smith inspires young people in the African American community to want to be better and to do better. One way Will Smith accomplishes this is through fashion. Whether we like it or not, we make our very first impression on people based on their clothes. If you want to achieve success, you have to dress like it. Will Smith knows that, and he is rarely seen not wearing a suit or dressed in a professional manner. What he wears tells young people that fashion is the first step to achieving success. No one is going to hire you if you come to an interview wearing jeans and a t-shirt. They are going hire the person that is professionally dressed. Will Smith is always dressed professionally and he presents himself in a way that shows future employers/co-workers that he means business and that he is there to work.
